Two different styles of durable metal footswitches are available from Roland/BOSS for various uses. The FS-5U (silver) is a footswitch that can be temporarily "unlatched," while the FS-5L (black) is a footswitch that can latch and has an LED to show its status. Using standard guitar cables, both footswitches can be attached. Regarding compatibility, please refer to your owner's handbook.
