The Guilele is made of a solid spruce top, mahogany sides and back, a fingerboard made of rosewood, and a natural satin finish. The Cordoba Guilele is made to be tuned up a fourth from regular guitar tuning (equivalent to a guitar with a capo at the fifth fret - A D G C E A - low to high), in the range of a conventional ukulele. due to the Guilele's significantly shorter scale than a guitar.
