The Korg Volca Drum serves as a small digital percussion synthesizer that utilizes its exclusive sound engine to produce special tones. Through its sound-exclusive process, the device employs wave folding with overdrive combined with waveguide resonator technology for generating sonically rich beat patterns. Each step in the step sequencer controls a six-part DSP engine that generates crisp and punchy drum sounds. This device enables musicians to perform live shows while producing studio recordings because it delivers modern rhythms that enhance any music setup.
