Compared to Mike's original 420 model, the ProMark Mike Portnoy 420x drumstick has additional power and projection. This stick, which errs on the larger side of a 5A, has an oval wood tip for a warm tone on cymbals and drums that suits the performance requirements of the majority of drummers.
